BSSC Inter-Level Exam Selection Process 2023: Stages
The BSSC Inter-Level Selection Procedure consists of mainly three stages, as mentioned above. Each of these stages has a specific syllabus and exam pattern. The details are below:
- Preliminary Exam is a screening test. The exam may also be conducted offline or online based on circumstances. All the questions of the preliminary exam are objective type. The preliminary exam consists of a single paper divided into 3 subtopics: General Awareness, General Maths/Science, and Reasoning. Each of these parts carries 50 questions, and the exam is scheduled to be carried out in 135 minutes.
- Main Exam: All the candidates who clear the preliminary exam are then selected for the main exam. The main exam is divided into 2 papers. The first is the language paper for the Hindi language, while the second has a syllabus similar to the Preliminary Exams. The language paper carries 400 marks, while the second paper carries 600 marks. Each paper is of 2 hours and 15 minutes in duration.
- Document Verification: The last stage of the Selection Process is the Document Verification process. Candidates who clear both the Preliminary and the Mains exams are called before the commission for the document verification process. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents on the scheduled date and venue will be disqualified.

The first stage of the Preliminary exam is the BSSC Inter-Level Exam Selection Process. It consists of a single paper divided into 3 subtopics discussed below. BSSC Inter Level Selection Process 2023 - Main Exam
BSSC Inter Level Exam is a written examination that will consist of 2 papers. Here is the detailed expected exam pattern of the BSSC inter-level Exam 2023.
- The total number of questions in Paper 1 is 100, and Paper 2 consists of 150 questions
- The maximum marks for paper 1 are 400, and the maximum marks for Paper 2 are 600
- Total marks obtained for every correct answer is 4 marks in both the papers
- The marks deducted for every wrong answer is 1 in both the papers.
- The duration of the examination is 2 Hours and 15 minutes for each paper.
- The candidates need to attain 30% marks in paper 1 to evaluate paper 2.

Once the candidate gets through both the written exams, he/she will be called in for the document verification process. The candidates must present certain documents below to get into the final merit list. Failure to produce any document will lead to the rejection of the candidate's application.
